My mother-in-law was admitted to Integral Baptist Hosp in Miami OK and was told her excruciating pain was unfixable and have placed in in the "Generations" ward for Physical therapy. We have been told she'll most likely never walk again, but they cannot do much for the pain. It is unacceptable to me to expect her to live the rest of her life in agonizing pain. We need a second opinion and possibly a transfer to another facility in a larger city. 3 weeks ago she was independent living alone, driving and so on. She also has Parkinsons disease, fairly well controlled.
